Big Four Ice Caves-Washington

I don't believe that there is an actual trail up this mountain, I think its more of a hike. But it is a fun place to go on the mountain loop highway!

There's the Big Four Trail which takens you to the ice caves, and the rest is a climb. To bad the bridge to the ice caves is washed out, hope they repair it soon!

I climbed up onto the top of the ice caves when I went. It is a little bit scary to be standing on top of a cave that could give any moment, especially with the warnings posted every 10 feet not to climb on them.

P.S. Mark, i did not know it was against the rules to climb ice caves.... I went in early season when the ice caves just had a crack threw the middle, but climbed almost to the top, but was worried becasue I noticed the snow below me getting thin.... before that I thought the caves were above the big glacier..... opps. Oh well. Cheers Josh Lewis.
